Overview
Zen Mode is a Chrome extension that helps you block distracting websites. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.
Data We Collect
Zen Mode does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage APIs.
The extension stores locally:
- The list of domains you have chosen to block
- Whether blocking is currently enabled or disabled
- Break schedule settings (if configured)
Permissions
The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
- declarativeNetRequest — to block network requests to domains on your blocklist
- storage — to persist your blocklist and settings locally
- tabs — to detect navigation and enforce blocking rules
- alarms — to schedule break reminders
None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit data outside of your device.
Third-Party Services
Zen Mode does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this page with a revised date.
